Boaz Frankel,  of Portland, Ore., makes his way from Bedford to Concord on a segway on Thursday June 4, 2009. Frankel is traveling across the country by any means other than a gas powered automobile starting in Portland, Ore., with a tandem bike ride with the Portland Mayor, Sam Adams. So far Frankel has gone through 23 states, traveled over 6,000 miles, and has used over sixty different types of transportation. "I'm experiencing the country in a new way," Frankel said.
